Hm. So maybe there's more to my art than cartooning. Maybe I have enough will to try out different things ... I look at all the designers, contemporary artists, and there are such beautiful and eclectic techniques out there ... there's no way I'd get there without a lot of work. I chose to be a musician, and that takes most of my time. I'll draw in whatever style I choose and work on that with the little time I have.

Alrighty. I'm not a trained visual artist. I have a Masters' in writing music for movies.

And it's a really tough business to get into if you stick to your ethics/preferences and don't always want to do zombie movies (though there are some great zombie movies out there).
So ... right now, my life has consisted of studies at McGill University in Music Composition, a short year-long break in French Guiana to do volunteer work and test my limits as a person, then my Masters' at Université de Montréal.
I've continually written music for friends, and am currently working on musical commissions on top of working part-time as composer for a social development video production company (Digital Development Communications International), playing in a wonderful band called The Hidden Words (look us up!) and, well ... working part-time as a cashier in a health food store.
Yep.
So sometimes, when I just can't take it anymore, I draw. Got no studies in that.
