Alrighty. I'm not a trained visual artist. I have a Masters' in writing music for movies.

Yep.

And it's a really tough business to get into if you stick to your ethics/preferences and don't always want to do zombie movies (though there are some great zombie movies out there).

So ... right now, my life has consisted of studies at McGill University in Music Composition, a short year-long break in French Guiana to do volunteer work and test my limits as a person, then my Masters' at Université de Montréal. I've been freelancing ever since I've been out of school, while working as a cashier at a health food store, and only being able to survive off just music not long ago.

I've continually written music for friends, and am currently working on musical commissions on top of working part-time as composer for a social development video production company (Digital Development Communications International), playing in a wonderful band called The Hidden Words (look us up!) and ... somehow, I manage.

Yep.

But sometimes, when all the music I write is all in my head and I long to do something with my hands, I draw, or craft, or sew. And that's what you get to see here.
